first_imgESPN3 Will Show Houston Baptist-McNeese State Game: ESPN3, which enters its second year as the home of the Southland’s primary basketball broadcast package, will broadcast the men’s and women’s doubleheader between Houston Baptist at McNeese State on Saturday. Lincoln Rose and Van Chancellor will have the call for both games in Lake Charles. ESPN3 coverage includes 12 doubleheaders, with women’s and men’s games carried back-to-back. New for the 2013-14 season is a wild card selection, allowing the best matchup to be selected on the final week of the regular season. SFA Extends Win Streak to 13: Stephen F. Austin ran its win streak to 13 games with a 74-58 victory at Northwestern State on Thursday. SFA is 16-2 overall and is the only 5-0 team in the Southland standings. The Bearkats won at Southeastern Louisiana 85-78 while Nicholls beat Houston Baptist 66-64 and A&M-Corpus Christi won 77-61 at McNeese State.
