Collaborating with the Graduate School leadership and programdirectors and working closely with the organization’s centralMarketing office, leads the strategic development of acomprehensive marketing plan for the Graduate School’s academicprograms, incorporating digital and traditional marketingelements.Directs high level and day-to-day execution of the marketingplan.Prepares marketing content for distribution through a varietyof channels. Writes and edits copy for online and print materials.Takes hands-on responsibility for coordinating production anddelivery of digital and traditional marketing materials. Ensuresthat Graduate School marketing content complies with Mount Sinaiidentity and branding guidelines.Serves as primary contact for all web and social media content.Performs hands-on management of social media communications for theGraduate School and coordinates with vendors and others involvedwith digital marketing and social media for various graduateprograms. Works closely with social media and other marketingprofessionals in the organization’s central Marketing office toadvance public recognition and understanding of the GraduateSchool’s programs, and to ensure Graduate School marketingpractices are aligned with Mount Sinai marketing strategy. Ensurethat use of logo and other visuals are appropriate and compliant byproviding non-marketing staff with templates and guidelines, and byreviewing drafts of content and planned purchases brandeditems.Performs project management role for all marketing-relatedprojects. Collaboratively defines timelines and metrics, andmonitors these throughout project execution to keep projects ontrack and report on outcomes.As a member of the Graduate School’s administrative team,participates in the planning, delivery, and logistical support forspecial events such as CommencementSupports and aligns communications campaigns and otherinitiatives generated by the Graduate School and the Office ofDevelopment and the Office of Alumni Relations. Serves as part of the Graduate School’s recruitment team.Working closely with Graduate School and program leadership,contributes to strategic planning of recruitment calendar and tothe development of recruitment materials.Supports internal communications functions, includingcontributing to content development for delivery to audienceswithin the organization. Performs data collection and analysisrelated to internal and external communications.Maintains relationships with relevant professionalorganizations and networks. Stays abreast of developments inmarketing and communications channels and technologies, as well asthe evolving higher education marketing landscape.Performs other duties as required, in support of the GraduateSchool’s administrative management and operations.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) inBusiness, Marketing, Communications, or related fieldFive or more years in higher education marketing/communicationsexperience with strong emphasis on digital channels, writing andediting skills.
