Police: Brooklyn trio arrested in Secaucus for shoplifting, selling fake IDs

first_imgCrimeSecaucus Bayonne Facebook Twitter Bayonne A Brooklyn trio was arrested after shoplifting from the Secaucus Home Depot, facing additional charges for getting caught with fake IDs they were allegedly selling, authorities said.Photo via Secaucusnj.gov.By John Heinis/Hudson County ViewKeian Sealy, 30, and Robert Martin, 47, of Brooklyn, New York, were charged with shoplifting, conspiracy to commit shoplifting, trafficking in personal identifying information pertaining to another person, conspiracy to commit trafficking in personal identifying information pertaining to another person, possession of false government documents, and conspiracy to commit an offense involving false government documents, according to Police Capt. Dennis Miller.Additionally, Ernst Bazelais, 40, also of Brooklyn, was charged with shoplifting, conspiracy to commit shoplifting, and hindering apprehension by providing false information, police said.On Saturday, February 29th at 6:54 a.m., Secaucus police responded to the Home Depot, located at 1055 Paterson Plank Road on a report of a shoplifting where the actor’s involved reportedly fled the store in a motor vehicle.During a motor vehicle stop with the involved vehicle, the three aforementioned men were arrested.Furthermore, Bazelais was also found to have one outstanding warrant out of Newark in the amount of $2,500 with a 10 percent option, one outstanding warrant out of Hillsborough, in the amount of $750 and one outstanding warrant issued out of Paterson, in the amount of $300, officials said.Sealy was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody, while Martin and Bazelais were served their complaint warrants and subsequently transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility, authorities said.
